I’ve battled with my weight throughout adult life and fluctuated between 155kg [over 24 stone] and 81kg [less than 13 stone]. Back in late 2013 to early 2015, I lost around 67kg [10.5 stone] in just over a year… but have put a lot back on. So here I am again, attempting to lose weight again, but this time it’s also to try and reverse type 2 diabetes and severe cirrhosis of the liver. My FibroScan kPa Median reading of 20.7 [a ‘normal reading’ is ~5.3 kPa; 10-12 kPa is severe fibrosis; and above 12 kPa is cirrhosis]. I stared on the 13th of January 2026 at 130.8kg [circa 20 stone 6 lbs] and I’m aiming to lose around 36kg [circa 5.5 stone] and get down to 95kgs [around 15 stone]. Here’s where I’m up to…
– 28 Feb 2026 … 125.1kg / 19 st 10 lb [loss: 5.7 kg / 0 st 12 lb]
– 13 Feb 2026 … 126.9kg / 20 st 0 lb [loss: 3.9 kg / 0 st 8 lb]
